The Developing Library Network (DELNET), located in New Delhi, constitutes a significant inter-institutional resource-sharing library network within India, linking over 8,800 organizations across 28 states and 6 Union Territories, as well as several additional countries, including universities, colleges, and research and development organizations.

The primary objective of DELNET is to facilitate resource sharing among its member libraries through the systematic collection, storage, and dissemination of information, in addition to providing users with networked library services.
