   Women Cell in Sreekrishnapuram V T Bhattathiripad College is an organisation supported by Kerala State Women Development Corporation ( KSWDC) and is an essential part of our colleges that focuses on the welfare of female students. It plays a crucial role in empowering female students by supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals. Addressing gender inequality

Women Cell help to address the issue of gender inequality in our society. They strive to create a safe and secure environment for female students, which promotes their rights and provides them with access to resources and facilities. The women’s cell also helps in spreading awareness about gender equality and works towards creating a gender-neutral campus where everyone has equal opportunities.

Offering support

Women Cell provides emotional and psychological support to female students who may be facing any physical or mental trauma. They offer guidance and counselling services, which can boost the mental health and well-being of female students. Moreover, they also act as a bridge between female students and the legal system, which can help in resolving any issues that may arise.

Promoting gender literacy

Women Cell help to promote gender literacy by organizing various seminars, workshops, and discussions throughout the year. These events are aimed at spreading awareness about gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and violence against women. By educating female students about their rights, they empower them to speak out against any form of injustice and discrimination.

Women Cell in our college, throughout these years,  played an essential role in promoting gender equality and empowering female students. By creating a safe and secure environment for female students, Women’s Cell trying to create a gender-neutral environment in campus that ensures equal opportunities for all.
