CHITHRASHALA - MOVIES CLUB:
Located in the campus of Sreekrishnapuram V.T. Bhattathiripad College in Mannampatta, Palakkad, Chithrashala, meaning "Film School" in Malayalam, is a club for students passionate about cinema. It serves as a platform to explore, appreciate, and create films.
The club introduces students to international cinema, helping them understand different cultures, storytelling techniques, and filmmaking methods. Screenings and discussions encourage critical thinking, allowing students to analyze films and gain deeper insights into the art of cinema.
Chithrashala also promotes hands-on learning by encouraging students to make their own films. This includes opportunities to work on scripting, directing, editing, and other aspects of filmmaking, providing practical experience and fostering creative growth.
By bringing together students with shared interests, the club creates an environment for collaboration and skill development. Chithrashala is a space for students to engage with the art of filmmaking, develop new skills, and express their creativity through cinema.
